Nice, Côte d’Azur Airport - Cannes
A rental car should be reserved beforehand by internet or by contacting the Nice airport directly. Car rentals can be found in Terminal 1. The cars are picked up at the area in front of Terminal 2. A free of charge bus connects both terminals regularly. The prices for car rentals are reasonable to cheap (outside the main seasons).
The bus is the cheapest connection to Cannes (1€), but it does not take a direct tour to the center. Thus the tour might take up to 1.5h. A faster coach connection is available for a higher charge 15€. This bus connection depart in front of terminal 1.
By train the trip to Cannes city center takes around 25 minutes to half an hour. Check out the walking route to the train station.
Taxi connections are relatively expensive. The pricing is fixed, from a list you can check the price for travelling between various destinations. From the airport to Cannes city center, a cab ride costs around 70€. Be sure to check the price with the driver beforehand.
